Access for the Disabled

All indoor meetings are held at the Friends Meeting House, just off Scalby Road. Access is on one level, there are no steps to climb.  The room is centrally heated, with good lighting and comfortable seating.  Toilets and washrooms are situated on the same level.  Doors into the building and within the building are large enough for easy passage of wheel-chairs.

For those hard of hearing there is a loop-system installed in the main room - we ask that those requiring use of this inform us in advance so that the system might be activated.

Some of our summer outdoor meetings are disability-friendly.  Badger watching is held in a hide accessible to wheel-chairs.  For the nightjar evening members can drive to the area and observe the birds from the comfort of their own car.
