Betton Bird of Prey and Conservation Centre

The Betton Bird of Prey and Conservation Centre can be found on the A170 East Ayton (3 miles west of Scarborough).  It is open to the public 10am - 5pm daily and you will see a variety of falcons, hawks, eagles and owls there.  It offers a range and variety of ways of interacting with birds of prey, including falconry courses, children's birthday parties, corporate entertainment days and evenings, and basic bird management courses.

Facilities include free parking, easy access for wheelchairs/disabled, toilets and refreshments.

You can contact the owners, Sue and Colin Bishop, as follows -

Email: mail@comeflywithme.net    Telephone: 01723 865116

Below are some photos taken by Jax Westmoreland during a visit to the centre on 24th July 2004.  Click on the pictures to see a larger version.

There's also a montage of smaller pictures available showing various views of the birds at the centre, taken by Lee Westmoreland on the same day.
